Billy Ray Robinson, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026. Born on Monday, July 14th, 1952, in Macon, Georgia, Billy Ray made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
After proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army, Billy Ray pursued a career as a mechanic, dedicating his skills to the Naval Ship Yard in Charleston, SC. His legacy will be cherished by his loving family, including his daughters Isabella Robinson, Harley Robinson, and Michelle Pharis (Joe); step-daughter Cheyanne Wyatt; his adored grandchildren Erica Pharis, Dylan Pharis, Jax Mclemore, and Lueka Mclemore; brother Willie Lee Robinson (Tawnya); and sister Pauline Robinson Eubanks Hortman.
He was predeceased by his father Robert Elmer Robinson, mother Eva Pauline Etheridge, brother Robert Edward (Eddie) Robinson, beloved daughter Noel Robinson, and step-father William Etheridge.
Billy Ray's life was full of adventure and joy. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and was an enthusiastic member of the Harley Owner's Group (HOG). Billy Ray could often be found floating down the river, camping in the great outdoors, or traveling to new places. An avid NASCAR fan, he also loved binge-watching shows on Netflix and trying his luck with lottery tickets and scratch-offs, often saying with a grin, "You can't win if you don't play."
A Celebration of Life to honor Billy Ray will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cartersville, GA. Arrangements are provided by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Billy Ray will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His adventurous spirit and unwavering optimism will forever light the hearts of those he leaves behind.
