Billy Windiate

Mr. William J. �Billy� Windiate, 57, of Cartersville passed away Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born August 21, 1951 in Belding, Michigan, he was the son of the late George Henry Windiate, Sr. and the late Hulda Marie Horton Windiate. A self-employed mechanic, Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing, racing � especially NASCAR and go-carts, and tinkering.



Survivors include his son, William Windiate of Michigan; his brother, George Windiate, Jr. of Cartersville; his sisters and brother-in-law, Ella May Mullins of Calhoun, Alice Windiate of Adairsville, and Alva and Cecil Fewless of Saranac, Michigan; seven nieces and eight nephews; eleven great-nieces and twelve great-nephews; and three great-great-nephews.



Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Following the service, Billy will be cremated, and his ashes buried in the family cemetery in Michigan at a later date.
