Bobby Casey, 63, of Rome passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Born July 23, 1946 in Cartersville, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Casey and the late Frances Elizabeth Young Casey. Bobby was a 1964 graduate of Cartersville High School and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his children, Danny Casey of Huntsville, Alabama, Gene Casey of Ringold, Gail Ray of Fairmount, and Michael Casey of Calhoun; and his brothers, Charles Casey of Cartersville, Edward Casey of Cedartown, and Jimmy Casey of LaFayette.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
