Bobby Davis

Bobby Leon Davis, 51, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 at his residence. Born August 17, 1958 in Cartersville, he was the son of the late Bud Davis and the late Louise Collum Davis. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Hazel O�Tinger; his brother, Larry Davis; his nephews, Erskin McRee and �Little� Larry Davis; and his niece, Amanda Griffith. Bobby was of the Baptist faith and loved his family, watching football and NASCAR and going fishing.



Survivors include his daughters, Misty and April Davis; his grandchildren, McKayla and Bryson; his brothers and sisters, Diane Davis Johnson, Dorothy Davis, Cathy Davis Rogers, Chuck Davis, Elaine Davis, Tina Davis Mulkey, Wesley Davis, Amy Davis Miller, and Lynne Davis; his brothers-in-law, Will Johnson, John Rogers, Darryl Thurman, Jo Mulkey, and Donnie Miller; his sisters-in-law, Renee Davis and Lisa Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal with Rev. Jimmy O�Tinger and Rev. Michael Silvers officiating.



Serving as pallbearers will be Bud Davis, A.J. Mulkey, Jake Davis, Billy Jenkins, Tony McRee, and B.J. Bearden. Michael Miller and John Rogers will serve as honorary pallbearers.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.
