Bobby "Bob" Lee Garner, Sr., 85, of Powder Springs passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
He was born on September 14, 1939, in Toccoa, Georgia, to the late Earnest Garner and the late Lois Walters Garner. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Garner; daughter, Ann Brown (Jerry); son, Michael Garner; daughter-in-law, Becky Garner; brother, Charles Garner; and sisters, Dorothy Conn, Gearldene Cook, and Irene Pressley.
Survivors include his children, Bobby Lee Garner, Jr. (Lisa) and Tammy Morris (Michael); grandchildren, Carol Stewart (Blake), Amanda Messer (Ronnie), Melissa Weaver (Adam), Tabitha Howard (Alex), Jerry Brown, Kaitlyn Garner, Jenna Garner, and Michael Morris II; great grandchildren, Christopher Garner, Matthew Garner, Cody Stewart, Megan Garner, Madison Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Colt Messer, Collin Messer, Maximus Morris, Ethan Weaver, Lilly Weaver, Skylar Ball, Dawson Ball, Kaine Howard, and Raven Howard; numerous great, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brother, Jimmy Ray Garner (Louise); and sister, Brenda Singleton.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bryan and Robin Swindell officiating. A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
