Bobby Woods

Bobby Clinton Woods, 78, of Cartersville died on Monday, April 1, 2019 at his residence.

Born on February 2, 1941 in Shelby, North Carolina he was the son of the late William B. Woods and the late Lois Bennett Woods. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Louise Woods Huskins; his nephew, Michael Huskins; and his niece, Harriett Cagle.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Potts Woods; his sons and daughter-in-law, Russell "Rusty" Woods (Vonnie) and Gary "Gig" Woods; his grandchildren, Megan Nichole Woods, Taylor Woods, Miranda Barton, and Dawson Woods; his great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Barton; his brothers, Billy Woods, Johnny Woods, and Marshall Woods; his sisters, Mary Johnson and Eva Nell Davis; several nieces and nephews; special family friend, Lori Bradley; and former pastor, Hoyt Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Randy Harris and Reverend Greg Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019 and until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Grier, Brandon Shedd, Charles McCoy, Bobby Potts. Tony Potts, Tom Woods, Dawson Woods and Bill Woods.
