Bonnie Bozeman, age 92, of Cartersville died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at Starcrest of Cartersville. Born in Cedartown on Sept. 24, 1915, she was the daughter of the late George Brookshire and the late Tempie Elizabeth Bryson Brookshire. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and was employed by Goodyear before retirement. One of Mrs. Bozeman past times was going to yard sales. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Marvin Bozeman; her son, Jackie Hagan; her brothers, James Arthur Brookshire, Grover Brookshire and a sister, Inez Cauldwell.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Steve and Stacy Hagan of Dallas; Susan Hagan of Acworth; her great-grandaughters, Peyton Hagan and Nicole Adams; two great-great grandchildren; a special daughter-in-law, Shirley Hagan of Acworth; a sister-in-law, Betty Brookshire of Cartersville; her nephews, Gene Hall of Eastman, Ga.; James Brookshire of Kingston; her nieces, Edna Nix of Jefferson, Ga.; Shirley Gibbs of McMinnville, Tennessee; and Ruth Wade of Rockmart.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
