Bradford Thomas

William Bradford Thomas, 82, of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at his residence.

Born on November 7, 1940, in Arab, Alabama, he was the son of the late L.H. Thomas and the late Inez Stone Thomas. Bradford is also preceded in death by his wife, Lee Thomas.

Survivors include his children Cathy Denise Davis, Phillip Darrell (Tammy) Thomas, and Dedria Lee Hunt; grandchildren Courtney (Nick) Hann, Megan (Leo) Mitchell, Casey (Ashley) Davis, Bailey Hunt, and Logan Hunt; great-grandchildren Kylie Hann, Khloe Hann, Emma Mitchell, Ella Mitchell, Ford Davis, and Josie Davis.

Bradford pastored several churches; he was a devout member of Reynold's Chapel Baptist Church in Taylorsville. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved to garden, hunt, and fish.

A visitation will be held at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 42 Old Alabama Rd SE, Emerson, GA 30137, Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Ennis Stone, Casey Davis, and Nick Hann officiating. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bailey Hunt, Logan Hunt, Leo Mitchell, Darrell Bailey, Chris Barrett, Gary Cantrell, Michael Weathers, and Kenneth Weathers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lamar Hunt, Jr. and Scott Ridley.
