Brenda Gravley

March 29, 1947 — June 16, 2025

Brenda Sue Gravley, 78, passed away on June 16, 2025 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. She was born on March 29, 1947 in Breman, Georgia to the late William Wood and Francis Rudaseal Wood. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Faye Roberson; as well as her uncle Roy and aunt Lillian Barber.

Brenda loved her children, grandchildren, and animals with a passion. She was the most hard-working person you could imagine. She was an absolute purist; she always rooted for the underdog but didn't mind correcting and disciplining when necessary.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Gravley, Cyndi Cochran (Tony), Corky Gravley (Heather), Mark Gravley (Vanessa), and Brandi Howard (Shane); grandchildren Nelson Gravley, Tyler Bracewell, Grant Howard, Reese Howard, Laura Grace Gravley, and Hudson Gravley; and a special friend and caretaker, Leslie Ponder.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm.
