Brenda Melendrez

Brenda Michelle Jordon Melendrez, 41 of Taylorsville passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. A native of Bartow County, she was born February 28, 1970 to William Earl Jordon and Barbra Ann Hite Jordon. Preceding her in death is her husband, Michael Melendrez; her grandparents, Bill and Madgline Hite and Marvin and Francis Jordon.

Survivors include her children, Garrett and Ashely Melendrez; her mother, Barbra Haynes; her father and step-mother, Billy and Brenda Jordon; her brothers, Tony Hite and Gary Crowe; her sister and brother-in-law, Tonya and James Tims; her aunts and uncles, Billy and Nellie Gayton, Ovaline Patterson, Eugene Hite, Jimmy Jordon and Brenda Porter; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sally and Scott Thompson; and several cousins nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 418 Martin Luther King Drive, Cartersville with Mr. Bobby Gayton officiating.
