Mrs. Brenda Faye Jenkins Mulkey, 69, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at her residence. Born in Polk County, October 25, 1941, she was the daughter of Emily Victoria Holland Jenkins and the late Milton Jenkins. Mrs. Mulkey was a member of Landmark Holiness Church and a good Christian lady. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death is her
father, Milton Jenkins; her daughter, Linda Faye Mulkey; her brothers, Robert and Johnny Jenkins; and her son-in-law, Robert Caldwell.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joel Mulkey; her sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Frank and Tina Mulkey, Harvey Mulkey, John and Janey Mulkey, Lewis and Michelle Mulkey, and Lloyd and Tracy Mulkey; her daughters, Mary Mulkey, Martha Davis and Amy Jordan; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; her mother, Emily Jenkins; and a number of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend C.E. Popham and Mr. John Mulkey officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:15p.m. and will include: Raymond Campbell, A.J. Mulkey, Chris Mulkey, Jason Davis, Corey Worthington and John Hazel. Daniel Combs and Ronnie Blackmon will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Wednesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
