Brent Evans

Brent Alan Evans, 41, of Cartersville died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born August 17, 1968 in Rome, he was the son of James Evans and Linda Hardin Evans of Cartersville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Hudson Hardin and Raymond and Ruby Evans. Brent had been employed as a construction supervisor, and he loved football and golf.



Survivors include his mother, Linda Hardin Evans of Cartersville; his father and step-mother, James and Christa Evans of Cartersville; his son, Christopher Evans of Cartersville; his sisters, Dee Anne Evans and Leigh Anne Evans of Cartersville; his nieces, Ashley Leighanne Evans, Katlin Anne Evans, Sherry Hardin, Erica Hardin, and Lindsay Hardin; his nephew, Jordan Blake Evans; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins including David Hardin, Debbie Hardin, and Millie and Al Pallone.



Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Dr. Joe Edwards, Rev. Chris Blackwell, and Mr. Parnick Jennings, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Cox, Jordan Evans, Tim Garnto, Al Pallone, James Elrod, Sherri Hardin, Kenny Landers, Gene Elrod, Kevin Tomlin, and Jason Massey. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home by 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday.



The family will receive friends from 6:30 � 9 p.m. Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
