Brian Denton

Mr. Brian Eric Denton, age 47, of Calhoun, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Born in Gastonia, North Carolina on November 3, 1968, he was the son of Linda Scism Hicks and Ted Hicks.

Brian graduated from Cass High School in 1987 and attended Georgia Highlands. He enjoyed listening to music.

Survivors include his parents, Linda and Ted Hicks; his son, Kyle Denton; his siblings, Heather Long, David Hicks and Carla Mahan.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
