Brison Strickland

Brison Strickland, 32, of Kingston Georgia, passed away on January 27, 2024 holding his wife's hand and surrounded by his family after an illness. He was born in Rome, Georgia on March 20, 1991 to Antonio Woods and Theda Strickland. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Matthew Smith; his cousin, Marlo Clowers; as well as many Military Brothers.
Brison has a large extended family in the Georgia Army National Guard, where he served eight years as a Fire Support Seargent with the 1-108
th
Calvary. He resided in Bartow County for most of his life. He worked for the Bartow County Sheriff's Office from 2009 to 2019 as an amazing sheriff deputy and K9 officer. He loved to sing any karaoke, especially Chris Stapleton and Jelly Roll. He enjoyed drinking his Evan Williams, which he referred to as "Sweet Tea". He was so free spirited and was always there to make you laugh, there was never a dull moment. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife, Kristen Strickland; children, Liam Eubanks, Lincoln Eubanks, and Lennox Eubanks; his dogs, Jango Strickland and Willow Strickland; his cat, Wonder Strickland; mother, Theda Strickland; father and step-mother, Antonio Woods Sr. and Heather Woods; mother and father-in-law Tonya and Timmy Henson; brothers, Brenton Strickland, Jozell Payne and Antonio Woods Jr.; sisters, Breyanna Dawson, Bri'ana Woods, Gina Clowers, Haven Brake, Mariyah Woods, Ariana Woods, and Sir'Rayah Woods; nieces Kennedi Payne, Azari Payne, Alanna Clowers and Amelia Brake; nephews, Kamdin Bradley and Isaiah Brake; grandmothers, Shirley Clowers and Sherion Quinn; as well as many cousins, and countless friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2023 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Military Honors will take place at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
