Bruce Brandenburg, Sr.

Bruce A. Brandenburg, 54, of Rome died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. He was born in Munich, Germany, February 13, 1956 and was the son of Sharon Wallace Brandenburg Hatcher and the late Donald Gene Brandenburg. He attended the Church at Liberty Square. Mr. Brandenburg was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.



Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bruce A. and Emily Brandenburg, Jr. of Rome; his daughters and son-in-law, Michelle and Marcus Woods of Cartersville and Hannah May Brandenburg of Norwood, Ohio; his mother, Sharon Hatcher of Rockmart; his brother, Ricky Brandenburg of Arizona; his sisters, Margo T. Jones and Cathy Brandenburg both of Acworth; his grandsons, Nathan and Blake Cantrell; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Brandenburg.



Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Harry Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with full military graveside rites.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. on Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
