Buddy Pilkay

Buddy Lee Pilkay, 51, of Cartersville passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 at his residence. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 16, 1960 he was the son of the late Charles Lee Pilkay and Joe Ann Robertson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Debbie Pilkay and Sherrill Dunford.



Buddy was a construction worker by trade and was employed by Tippins Construction Company. He enjoyed reading and traveling. Buddy chose to be a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.



Survivors include his mother and step-father, Joe Ann and Donald Robertson of Knoxville, Tennessee; his wife, Patsy Cantrell Pilkay of Cartersville; his sons, Jamie Pilkay and Justin Pilkay both of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Anthony Pilkay, Austin Pilkay and Ashlee Pilkay all of Cartersville; his sisters, Mary McCarter, Carol Rudd, Pat Haggard and Diane Mitchell all of Knoxville, Tennessee.



Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Bryant Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Kennesaw.



The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. � 1:30 p.m., Monday prior to the service at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
