Buster Ash, age 54, of 2934 Sand Spring Rd., Rome, died unexpectedly Wednesday.He was born January 31,1950 in Floyd County, son of the late Euclid H. Ash,Sr and Ruby Plemmons Ash and had lived here most of his life. He was a graduate of Coosa High School and a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Big Texas Valley.He was owner/operator of Buster Ash Insurance Agency specializing in property casualty insurance. Buster enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and was an all round sportsman.Surviving is a daughter, Kellie Ash Clonts, Rome; grandchildren, Avery Ash and Ezra Clonts of Rome; brother, Don Ash of Rome; sisters and brother-in-laws, Barbara and Butch White, Rome and Jane and Raymond Downs, Rome.Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday in the Oaknoll Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Rev.Bobby Stephens officiating. Interment will be in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.The body will lie instate at Jennings Oaknoll Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Thursday.
