Byron Stockton

Byron Stockton, 81 of Rydal, Georgia, passed away on November 21, 2020. Born on November 1, 1939 in Flint, Michigan, he was the husband of Karen Stockton. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Cleeta Herrmann and Everett Stockton; and his grandson, Aaron Stockton.

Survivors include his wife Karen, his four children, Shawn Stockton, Kelly Wehunt, Bridgett Knaeble, and Donald Stockton; his step son, Nick Andrus; his twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother-in-law George Sessum; sister-in-law, Jeneane Sessum; a niece, Jenna Sessum; a nephew; Julius Sessum; a brother-in-law, Frank Dimino; and his two dogs whom he loved dearly; Spike and Daisey.

Byron had a very great love for animals and enjoyed spending time with his Spike and Daisey. When he was not spending time with his family, he could be found wood working in his barn or reading a book. Byron loved and was loved by many; he will be missed dearly.

A private memorial service will be held for family only at a later date.
