Carol Sorrow

Carol Mae Sorrow, 66, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at her residence. Born in Griswellville on November 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Henry Wilson Eubanks and the late Ruby Pearl Avant Eubanks.



Carol had been employed with Titan Distribution. She had a great sense of humor and was a hard worker. She was also a loving mother and grandmother.



Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory A. and Leandra M. Sorrow; her grandchildren, Gregory L. and Kayla R. Sorrow and Andy Sorrow; her siblings and their spouses, Reginald and Jackie Eubanks, Shirley Eubanks Howe, Wayne and Ellen Eubanks, and Dan and Kathy Eubanks; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Wayne Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Gregory L. Sorrow, Andy Sorrow, David Eubanks, Allen Eubanks, Reggie Eubanks, and Lee McFall. Honorary pallbearers will be Damon Cannon, Chris Winslow, David Weldon, Brian Jarrett, and Mark Eubanks. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. on Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Carterville, GA 30120.
