Carol Latimer Wilson, 72, of Cartersville passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Kindred Hospital. Born November 13, 1939 in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late Charles Howell Latimer and the late Mittie Hubbard Latimer. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lois Scroggins.
Carol was a member of the Blue Springs Baptist Church in Acworth. She loved singing and being a house wife. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed.
Survivors include her husband, James Harold Wilson; her children, Beth Benson, Adam Wilson, and Joey and Donna Wilson; her grandchildren, Ansley Benson, Brittany Benson, Jacob Wilson, Destiny Wilson, Zachary Wilson, and Cody Bentley; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Bonnie Latimer; and her sister and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Kevin Price, and Johnny Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Reverend Donnie Summey and the Reverend Bradford Thomas officiating. The body will lie in state from 1 � 2 at the church. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dewayne Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Scott Jones, Cody Bentley, John Latimer and Adam Jernigan. These gentlemen are asked to be at the church by 12:15 on Tuesday.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 8 Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
