Carolyn Commons

Carolyn Sue Commons, age 40, of 10 Dove Drive, Cartersville, died on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Bartow County on April 11, 1968, she was the daughter of Jessie Sanford and Shirley Ruth Lowe Sanford. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by a sister, Frances Ann Edalgo.

Survivors include her son, Nick Commons; her father and step-mother, Jesse and Libby Sanford; her mother and step-father, Shirley Ruth and Frank Sanford; her sister, Mary Ruth Matthews; her brother, Jesse J. Sanford all of Cartersville; and several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.,Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Jack Edwards, Rev. Ricky Bryant and Rev. James Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Shinall Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 9 p.m.

Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. and will include:
Ricky Sanford, Michael Chriss, J. T. Sanford and Randal Smith.
