Carolyn Edens

Carolyn Sue Edens, 79, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on November 14, 2022 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on July 30, 1943, she is the daughter of the late Hicel Rhodes and the late Macel Tinsley Rhodes. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, William Arthur Edens, Jr.; and her brother, Donald Rhodes.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheri Lynn (Grant) Nierling; her son, Bill (Charmon) Edens; brother, Warren Rhodes; grandchildren, Hayley Edens and Casey Boston; and her great-grandchildren, Benson Boston, Anders Boston, and Henry Boston.

Carolyn loved to read and garden. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and would even attempt to cook those dishes herself. Carolyn's love for cooking always followed with learning new recipes.


Carolyn Edens will be inurned at Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Lane Tow officiating.
