Carolyn Goss

Carolyn Goss, 69, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her residence. Born April 9, 1943 in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late Clarence Bennett and the late Lula Bell Huffstetler Bennett. She was also preceded in death by her step-son, David Goss; her son, Alfred Smith; and her sister, Shirley James.



Survivors include her husband, Johnny Goss; her daughter, Connie Lee; her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Becky Smith; her sisters, Sue Wood, Catheryn Martin, Jodi Hensley, and Joyce Dunagan of Canton; her brothers, Joe Bennett of Canton, and Michael Bennett; her stepdaughters, Debra Amos of Rydal, Lisa Olvera and Michelle Lanham; her step-sons, Daryl Goss and Tony Goss; twenty-two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.



Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronnie Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Dunagan, Randy Martin, Donnie Bell, Tony Goss, Christopher Perkins and Shane Walker. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be George Turner and Rusty Martin. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 3:15 on Tuesday.



The family will receive friends from 11:00 � 4:00 on Tuesday prior to the service at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
