Carolyn Wolff

Carolyn Jean Wolff, 76, of Cartersville, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Mt. Berry Hospice in Rome. She was born December 13, 1940 in Taylorsville and was the daughter of the late Gene Ponder and Gertrude Cantrell Ponder.

Carolyn was very outgoing and a very determined person. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening and birds. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her sisters, Judy Branton and Phyllis Cagle; and a brother, Kenneth Ponder.

Survivors include her children, Mauro S. Wolff (Belinda) and Shawn A. Wolff (Carolina) all of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Ashley Wolff of Gainesville, Anna Wolff Roberts of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Zachary Wolff of Cartersville, Caleb Wolff of Cartersville and Evan Wolff of Taylorsville; one great-grandchild; her sisters, June Boss of Carterville and Annette Carroll of Taylorsville; and a brother, Marshall Ponder of Cartersville.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Justin Gazaway officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday for one hour prior to the service.
