Mrs. Cathy Nelson-Lorenz, 46, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her residence following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Attalla, Alabama on November 8, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Linda Butler Nelson Sayre and Charles R. Nelson, Jr.
Mrs. Lorenz was employed by the Bartow County School System. Teaching was her whole life!
She is survived by her father, Charles Nelson, Jr.; her husband, William Lorenz; her son, Andrew Lorenz; her step-daughter, Alyssa Lorenz; a brother, Charles Nelson; along with 2 grandchildren, LaNora Santos and Carlos Santos.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
