Cecelia Irene Hoff, 79, of Rome, Georgia passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. She was born December 23, 1936 in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Norman and Ella Sommerfeldt Raether. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren (Trapper) Hoff, her parents, her brother Clifford Raether, and brothers-in-law, Roger Twerberg and Charles Roles.
Cecelia graduated from Augusta High School in 1954. On October 12, 1963 she married Warren Hoff at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. She worked as a secretary for Our Saviors Lutheran Church 1971-1980 and Eau Claire Board of Education 1981-1997 when she retired. Cecelia enjoyed gardening and especially her flowers. Her faith in God always remained strong and she was ready to join Trapper in Heaven.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Chris Hoff; her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Curtis Bradley; her grandchildren, Emma Hoff, Andrew Hoff, Corey Bradley, Sara Bradley, and Alex Bradley; her sisters, Jean Roles, and Carol Twerberg; her brother Gerald Raether; her sisters-in-law, Karen Gustafson, Nancy Raether, and Carol Raether; her brother-in-law, David Gustafson.
It was Cecelia's wishes to be cremated. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
