Chad Underwood

Chad Underwood, 39, of Cartersville passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome.

Born on September 30, 1980 in Cartersville, he was the son of the late Randy Morris and Debra Ann Clark. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Clark; and several aunts and uncles.

Chad was employed by Chemical Products in Cartersville. In his free time, he enjoyed walking and hiking with his wife. He loved his sports, especially Georgia Tech football, the Atlanta Braves, and bowling with his bowling league.

Survivors include his wife of nine years, Angela Vandall Underwood; his children, Nathan Eugene Williams, Noah Isiah Williams, and Rayna Brooke Underwood; his parents, Mickey Underwood, and Debra Morris; his sister, Tamra Morris; and many nieces and nephews.

Due to continuing Covid restrictions a visitation limited to 10 people at a time and social distancing will be held at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Oak Grove Methodist Church, 1689 Euharlee Rd., Kingston, GA 30145 with Pastor John Orr officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Croy, Donnie Mathison, John Wheeler, Dwight Glenn, Randall Hazelwood, Lonnie Martin, and Michael Baggett. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Williams, and Noah Williams.
