Charlene Weaver Edwards, 68, of Cartersville passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Blairsville, on June 14, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Roy Weaver and the late Janet Weaver. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law Larry Monroe.



Charlene was a homemaker, a job that was very important to her. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always loving, caring, and supportive of her family.



Survivors include her husband of thirty-six years, Tommy Edwards; her children and their spouses, Angie and James West of Cartersville, Kim and Larry Kambas of Johns Creek, Pam and Wayne Collins of Marietta, Barry and Karen Edwards of Mt. View, Arkansas, Michael and Dawn Anderson, of Cartersville and Christy and Payson Hammonds of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Brandi and Cody Archer, Ashley and Kyle Sutton, Karly Edwards, Andy and Brittney Edwards, Ken and Lara West, Eric Totten, Alaina Totten, Elijah Edwards, Kylie Anderson, and Emily Hammonds; her great-grandchildren, Dawson Sutton, Will Edwards, Keoni Merced, Ethan Edwards, and Madison Archer; her brothers and sisters, Charlotte Monroe, Roy Weaver, Jr., Rudy and Lola Weaver, Ronnie and Donna Weaver, and Joe and Judy Weaver.
