Charles Booth

Charles Booth, 74, of Cartersville passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at his residence. Born July 29, 1936 in Woodstock he was the son of the late Odie Cecil Booth and the late Maggie Florene Thaxton Booth.



Charles served his country in the United States Army and later was employed and a construction worker. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the American Legion.



Survivors include his wife, Donna Lee Booth of Cartersville; his daughters and son-in-law, Bridget and Tim Thomas of Culleoka, Tennessee, and Patti Salazar of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Brandon and Judy Booth of Seneca, South Carolina, Brandy and Dale Bolton of Columbia, Tennessee, Nicole and Ted Wray of Culleoka, Tennessee, Cody Booth of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and Ryan and Tony Long of Cartersville; his great-great grandchildren, Dylan Wray, Nicholas Wray, Brody Booth, and Hayden Booth; his brothers and sisters, Emmarene Neese, Virginia Luttrell, Wynell Booth, Harold Booth, and Cecil Booth, and several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Cartersville Family Church with the Rev. Bill Crank officiating.
