Mr. Charles Edward Bradley, Sr., 76, of Rydal, died on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at his residence.
Born in Weaverville, North Carolina on May 22, 1942, he was the son of the late Harrison Bradley and Della White Bradley.
Mr. Bradley was employed by Wynn Pontiac GMC as a Sales associate and retired as MSgt from the U. S. Air Force in 1981. He was of the Baptist faith, loved his family, fishing and his country. He was a true Patriot.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Bradley; daughters, Patricia Pick (Daniel) of Texas, Kim Anderson (Clint) of Choctaw, OK, Jennifer Rudy (Alfred) of Rydal, Shannon Bradley-McBrair (Heidi) of Warner Robins; sons, Charles Bradley, Jr. (Robin) of Franklin, TN, Jason Bradley (Ashley) of Denver, CO; sisters, Jackie Metcalf, Katherine Taylor, Hazel Link, all of Asheville, NC; brother, Steve Bradley of Asheville, NC; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with full military honors, with Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Private Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
