Charles Brown

Charles Thomas �Charlie� Brown, 57, of Cartersville, loving father and devoted husband died peacefully Friday, March 20, 2009 at his home. Charlie was a native of Bartow County, born on September 10, 1951 and was a Millwright � Local 1263. He was the son of the late Frank Holly Brown Jr. and Weston Kown Brown. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert �Bud� Ray Jr. and Doris Helen Jackson Ray; and his brothers-in-law Robert �Railroad� Ray III and Lonnie Ray.



Survivors include his wife, Rose Ray Brown; his daughter, Tiffany Brown Payne; his granddaughters, Camille Payne and Alexandria Payne; his brother-in-law, Johnny Ray; his sister-in-law, Linda Jo Ray; his sisters, Susie Perkins, Brenda Gossett and Vickie Miller; and many nieces and nephews.



Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Woffords Crossroad Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend George Chastain and Reverend Michael Abernathy officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be, Johnny Ray, Terry Martin, Josh Martin, Anthony McEntire, Jerry Payne and Chris Verhine.
