Charles Edward Cromer, 67, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at his residence. Born June 21, 1942, he was born in Centre, Alabama and was the son of the late A.C. Cromer and the Gladys Bright Cromer. Before retiring he was employed by the City of White as a water superintendent. Mr. Cromer loved his family and enjoy watching TV. Preceding him in death along with his parents are his brothers, Byron Cromer and Billy and William Keever.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Cromer of Cartersville; his daughter, Pamela Cottingham of Decatur, Alabama; his son, Charles Edward Cromer, Jr. of Cartersville; his step-daughters, Sue Neal and Rhonda Scott both of Cartersville; his sisters, Martha Barker of Cartersville, Sally Angle of Gaylesville, Alabama; his brothers, Hugh Cromer of Cartersville, Hoyt Cromer of Acworth; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
