Mr. Charles Benjamin Crump, 77, of Cartersville, died peacefully surrounded by his family, Monday, May 07, 2012. Born in Talking Rock, Georgia, June 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Andrew Madison Crump and the late Ada Southerland Crump. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Crump; and a brother, Claude Crump.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Wanda Crump and Wesley and Nickie Crump; his daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Eddie Boswell; his grandchildren, Jasen and Jennifer Crump, Brandon and Alma Crump, Cody Crump, Heather Crump, Carter Crump, Dee Dee Williams, Wes and Ashley Crump, Christopher Womack, Jesse Womack and Lauren Womack; his great-grandchildren, Eli, Sam, Ava Grace, Lyla Faith, Madilyn and Heidi Crump, Kaleb Dunagan, Briana Dunagan, Cole Crump and Marley Crump; his brothers, Carlton and Claburn Crump; and his mother-in-law, Lillie House.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jasen, Brandon, Cody, Carter and Wes Crump, Kaleb Dunagan, Christopher and Jesse Womack.
The family will receive friends from 5 -8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
