Charles Evans

Charles "Chuck" Evans, 62, of Ranger, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun.

Born on December 7, 1951 in Jellico, Tennessee he was the son of the late Everett Evans and the late Jenida Reynolds Evans. Chuck was employed as a truck driver for All Star Roll Off. He was of the Baptist faith. Chuck was a hard worker who never met a stranger. His presence lit up a room. Chuck loved sweets, loved to fish but mostly he loved his wife, children, grandchildren and his entire family.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Alice Martin Evans of Ranger; his son, Steven Charles Evans of Cartersville, his daughters and son-in-law, Ashley Lynn and Brett Blome of Adairsville and Jennifer Leigh Kazmar of Trenton, MI; his grandchildren, Cade Kazmar, Haley Kazmar, Dylan Evans, Kamden Evans, Bentley Evans and Ethan Blome; his brother, Everett Mac Evans of Williamsburg, KY, his sisters and brother-in-law, Jo Daniel of Cartersville, Kathy and Ray Bryant of Williamsburg, KY and Barbara Crawford of Ranger; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Vicky Patterson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
