Charles Patterson

Mr. Charles Barry Patterson, 76, of Cartersville passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Born in Cartersville, December 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Charlie Clifford Patterson and the late Ida Pauline Williams Patterson. Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Bobby Patterson.



Mr. Patterson was of the baptist faith and was self employed. He owned a used book store and enjoyed reading. He was also a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.



Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Patterson Cole of Dallas; his son and daughter-in-law, Dwan and Charlotte Patterson of Dallas; his grandchildren, Blake Dobbs, Erin Cole, Jacob Patterson and Breanna Patterson; a niece, Debbie Patterson Bonds; her nephews, Michael Patterson and and Dale Patterson.



In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Charles "Pat" Patterson memorial fund at any SunTrust bank.



The family will receive friends Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 1-4 p.m. at the residence of Cindy Cole.
