Charles Perkins

Charles Ray Perkins, 73, of Cartersville died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at his residence. Born November 9, 1936 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late George Perkins and the late Grace Barber Perkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Perkins; and his son, Mark Ray Perkins.



Charles served his country in the United States Marine Corps and later went on to work for the Ford Motor Company as a carpenter. Wood working and sewing were some of his hobbies.



Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Charles McIntyre; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Bonnie Perkins and Rodney and Maxine Perkins; his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Willis Dillon; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
