Charles Thacker

Mr. Charles "Jeff" Thacker, 47, of Cartersville passed away, Friday, April 12, 2013 at his residence. Born in Cobb County on November 26, 1965, he was the son of the late Charles Thacker, Sr. and the late Lindia May Ealy Thacker.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William "Buck" Brown. Mr. Thacker was the owner/operator of Thacker Trucking and enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, listening to music and loved old cars. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Thacker of Sweetwater, TN; his grandson, Jackson Elijah Thacker; his granddaughter, Marlee Thacker; his sisters, Debbie Huddleston of Etowah, TN and Julie Hands of Iron City, TN; and his brother, David Brown, Jr. of Adairsville.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
