Charles Twilley

Mr. Charles Larry Twilley, 81, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his residence. Born June 15, 1932 in Dallas, he was the son of the late Pastor W. R. Twilley and the late Delia Mae Thomason Twilley.
Along with his parents, he is preceded by his wife, Jimmie Dee Barton Twilley; his favorite grandson, Christopher Ricky Barnwell; his brothers, Bill, Randall and Lance Twilley; his sisters, Ann Twilley, Lester Thomason, Alma Brown, Jean Brown and Virginia Powell and his son-in-law, Gary A. Babb.
He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, riding his lawnmower and watching NASCAR. He retired from Georgia Power Company after 30 years and was a part of the Engineers Local 962. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Charles was a family man and loved them very much.
Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Sharon and Paul Martin of Cassville, Ann Babb of Cartersville and Lynn Davis of Fort Payne, Alabama; his sons, Charles Tyler Strong and William Michael Strong both of Redding, California; his grandsons, Justin Paul Martin, Masory Dennie Martin, Tyler Charles Martin and Justin Davis; his granddaughters, Cheryl Kaleczyc (Dave) and Rachael Davis; and his sister, Delia Mae Hibbard Thomas of Cartersville.
