Charlotte Monroe

December 7, 1939 — July 12, 2024

Charlotte Lee Weaver Monroe, 84, of Cartersville, Georgia, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, July 12, 2024.

She was born on December 7, 1939, in Blairsville, Georgia, to the late Lee Roy Weaver, Sr. and the late Marjorie Montieth Weaver. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Monroe; and siblings, Charlene Edwards, Lee Roy Weaver, Jr., Ronald Weaver, and Joe Weaver.

Survivors include her son, Terry Anderson (Sarah); daughter, Tammy Tomlin (Cam); grandchildren, Brooke Tomlin, Adam Tomlin, Matthew Yates, Jamie Mikell, Christopher McDonald, and April Hazelwood; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and brother, Rudy Weaver (Lola).

Charlotte lived by the motto, "I am my brother's keeper." She was the hands and feet of Jesus by taking care of others.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in the Jennings Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Eric Helms officiating. Interment will follow in the mausoleum at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service.
