Mrs. Cheryl Lee Peacock, 65, of Cartersville, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her residence.
Born May 10, 1955 in Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Walker and Maggie Hutchison Walker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Stephen Hendricks, and two sisters.
Cheryl was an excellent belly dancer and taught belly dancing lessons. She loved spending time with her family. She was a devout Jehovah's Witness and loved cats and the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and writing poetry. She was a great cook and loved to travel and camp.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Richard Leighton Peacock; her children, Angelia Hendricks (Bubba), Johnny Courson (Tracey), and Joseph Courson (Eleana); her grandchildren, Haley Youngken (Brett), Brittany Hendricks, Sophia Courson, Taylor Courson, Erica Courson, Tori Courson, and Hannah Courson; her great grandkids, Kaitlyn Hendricks, Alaina Youngken, Thomas Costlow, and Kallie Hendricks.
