Christina "Michelle" Cooper, age 47, of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in Thomson, Georgia.
Michelle was born on September 14, 1976, in Marietta, Georgia to her loving and devoted parents, Elliott Christian Cooper and Brenda McGriff Cooper.
Preceding Michelle in death are her paternal grandparents, W.E. Cooper & Ruby Cooper, and her maternal grandfather, Fred McGriff.
She is survived by her parents Elliott & Brenda Cooper; her brother Jeromy S. Cooper and his fiancée, Hannah Aikens; her maternal grandmother, Calista McGriff; her nieces and nephews, McKenzie Cooper, Madelyn Cooper, Merrick Cooper, Carter Wolfe, and Katy Grace Wolfe; her two very best friends, Marti Couey and Amanda Hatfield; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michelle was a loving and sweet person who would willingly help others. She was proud that she completed a college degree in Fine Arts and proud of the art she created. Her hobbies included cooking exotic foods and dishes of all kinds, painting, drawing, ceramics, creating jewelry, and too many other crafts to mention. She loved family trips and events, traveling, online games and had a thirst for knowledge. Her jokes and laughter will be greatly missed.
Michelle's family will be hosting a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church located at 606 Cassville Rd, Cartersville, GA 30120. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
