Mrs. Christine Dale Evans Burger, 61, of Rydal, passed away, Monday, July 16, 2012 at her residence. A native of Bartow County born April 6, 1951, she was the daughter of Eva Lou Campbell Evans and the late L.D. William Evans. Along with her father she is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Edward Burger and her grandson, J.C. Tant.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Lou Evans of Adairsville; her two daughters, Teresa Diane Woody and Tammy Andrews both of Rydal; her son, Dwayne Tant of Cartersville; her three sisters, Helen Hackney of Adairsville, Ann Lindsey of Cartersville and Patsy Wilbanks of Adairsville; her brother, Roy Evans of Adairsville; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Larry Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park, 3736 Red Bud Road, NE in Calhoun, Ga.
Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:15 p.m. and will include: Keith West, Kenneth Tant, Harvey Tant, Jeffery Tant, Seth Keller and Chad West.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 8 p.m., on Tuesday and Wednesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
