Christine Elizabeth Gillespie of Rome, GA, passed away Wednesday December 30, 2020 at her residence. She is the daughter of the late Carl Gibson and Lizzie Bell Gibson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William Gillespie, her 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her children Kathy Bush, Yolanda (Tony) Forrister and Charles (Laura) Ashburn; sisters Patricia Deavers and Shirley Palmer; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Christine loved gardening and her favorite flowers are roses.
The family will receive friends and family for visitation on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Pastor Scott Crowder officiating.
