Christopher Wimpy

Christopher Wimpy, 35, of Cartersville died on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge. Born March 6, 1974 in Dallas, he was the son of Ray L. Wimpy and the late Cathy Ann Jacobs Wimpy. He was employed by Ray Wimpy Construction and attended the Church of the Covenant.



Survivors include his son, Christopher Andrew Wimpy of Cartersville; his father, Ray Wimpy of Fairmount; his sisters, Lisa Vaughan of Cartersville, Connie Hale of Cedartown, and Cassie Wimpy of Rome; his brothers, Raymond Wimpy, Rodney Wimpy, Justin Wimpy, and Bradley Wimpy, all of Cartersville; his step-sister, Lindsey Turner of Fairmount; his step-brother, Austin Turner of Fairmount; his girlfriend, Brandi Starkey of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Bill Crank officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be William Rogers, Blake Rogers, Billy Rogers, Ronnie Vaughan, David Shook, David Thompson, Robert Davis, and Phil Hames. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers are requested to meet at the funeral home by 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.
