Cindy Hunter Greenway, age 60 of Rome, GA, passed away unexpectedly at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center on February 15, 2024.
Cindy was born in Rome, GA to her loving parents Jackie Annelle Ashley and the late Billy Lee Hunter on December 18, 1963. In conjunction with her father, she is also preceded in death by her brother Charlie Joe Hunter; her maternal grandparents Billy Joe Brooks Sr. and Vergie Ovell Conway Brooks; and her paternal grandparents Charlie and Bertha Hunter.
Cindy is survived by her mother Jackie; her children Daphne Joy Teems, Gabe Lamont Teems, and Brandon Lee Rodefer (Ayla Beltran); her grandchildren Izabelle Teems, Spencer Cox (Crystal), Isaac Cox, and Demitruis Pasrons-Hall (Jade Fulton); her siblings Vicky Hunter, Wayne Hunter, and Annelle Gainor (Bob); as well as two great-grandchildren who are on the way.
Cindy was an outdoors girl through and through. She loved going down to the river, she enjoyed hiking and going to the beach, and craved being in the sunshine to work on her tan. She also had a knack for collecting things like stones and Coca-Cola memorabilia. Her time here was spent appreciating the small things in life and her joy for simple pleasures was admirable. She is very loved by her family and will be missed dearly.
Cindy's family will be hosting a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
