Cynthia "Cindy" Elizabeth Jones, age 74, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.
Cindy was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late Jasper Phillip DiGirolamo and the late Elizabeth Torano DiGirolamo. She is also preceded in death by her grandson Alexander Jones, whom she is uniting with in heaven, at last.
She is survived by her devoted husband of over 55 years, Paul E. Jones; her beautiful daughters, Denise Jones, Kris Glashoff, Paula Martinez, Dana Ryan, and son-in-law, Eddie Ryan; her grandchildren, Kayla Glashoff, George Glashoff Jr., Gabriel Jones, Jacob Ryan, Morgan Glashoff, Eric Glashoff, Jonathan Ryan, and Bella Ballesteros; her great-grandchildren, Jordan Glashoff, Jamie Jean Ryan, Dakota Glashoff, Roman and Sydney McLain, Dustin Glashoff, and Savannah Glashoff; her siblings Patrice Eddy and David DiGirolamo; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Cindy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as "Grams" and was equally involved in her grandchildren's lives. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh; she was truly a kid at heart. Creating was what she loved, whether whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen, or heading to the garage to work on wood crafts, Cindy always kept busy. She was always ready for a challenge to build, create, or design something. She will be forever missed by everybody who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cindy's family will receive friends for a visitation at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on October 8, 2023, at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822. A Celebration of Life honoring Cindy will follow at 12:00 p.m.
