Cindy Mulkey

Cindy Ann Mulkey, 53, of Taylorsville passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on January 28, 1969, in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late Roosevelt H. Morrow and the late Lola Tallent. She was also preceded in death by her sister Darlene Abernathy.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Franklin Mulkey; her sons Colin Mulkey and Tyler Mulkey; sisters Lisa Bunch and Debbie Messer; brothers Dale Elrod, and Donnie Elrod.

Cindy loved taking care of her family. She was a great cook and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and buying things for her family. She especially loved gardening, tending to her flowers, and watching them grow.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service.
