Clara May Landrum, age 86, of Cartersville, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. She was born on September 27, 1939, in Calhoun, Tennessee.
Mrs. Landrum was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy "Bill" Landrum; her sons, Billy Landrum Jr. and David Landrum; her parents, Isam Radford and Lecie Radford (née Burris); and her daughter-in-law, Patricia "Pat" Landrum (née Harrell).
She is survived by her devoted children: Deborah (Roger) Swingle of Wasilla, Alaska; Christopher Landrum of Cartersville; Jimmy (Dawn) Landrum of Cartersville; and Kenneth Landrum of Rockmart. She was a loving grandmother to Dana Landrum; Adrianne (Willie) Carson; Roger (Kirsten) Swingle III; Joshua Landrum; Gwen (Yudong) Swingle; Ally (Andrew) Landrum; and Jayme (Nathan) Williams. She was also blessed with several cherished great-grandchildren.
Throughout her career, she was employed by Admiralty Mills and Morellos of Cartersville, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Clara found great joy in life's simple pleasures. She took pride in her flower gardens, enjoyed mowing her yard, and found peace and creativity in sewing. Her strength, humility, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A private family viewing will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a public viewing for friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Baptist church at 3855 GA-140 Rydal,GA 30171
