Clarence Hogwood, Jr

Mr. Clarence Lee �Johnny� Hogwood, Jr. age 63, of Kennesaw, GA, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009.



Mr. Hogwood was born in Floyd County, GA on September 10, 1945, the son of the late Clarence Lee Hogwood, Sr. and Mary Lois Weems Hogwood. He graduated from Johnson High School and Berry College. Mr. Hogwood remained active with his high school Alumni. He owned and operated Accounting Data Systems. In addition to his parents Mr. Hogwood was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Glen Hogwood.



Survivors include his wife, Marsha Tuck Hogwood to whom he was married on November 8, 1963; a son and daughter-in-law, William Brian and Kim Hogwood of Marion, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Ann and Keith Lomax of Dallas, GA; four grandchildren, Kristina Ashley Wharton and Brandon Keith Lomax both of Dallas, GA and Dalton Adkins and Breonna Hogwood both of Marion, OH; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas F. and Dorsie Nell Hogwood of Silver Creek, GA; and a sister, Linda Amonds of Austell, GA.



A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 28, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Jess Harkins officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.



The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home.
