Mr. Claude E. Clark, 71, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2011 at Chulio Hills Nursing Home in Rome. A native of Bartow County, Mr. Clark was born June 5, 1939 and was the son of the late John Thomas Clark and the late Mary Lou Hazelwood Clark. He was a member of Miller�s Chapel Church. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Elwanda Cornwell Clark; and a sister, Annie Lou Fowler.



Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Jackie Morris and Melinda and Jeff Waldrop; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;former wife, Pauline Gravley; his sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Kenny Vollm; a special aunt, Almer Hazelwood and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Brian Silvers and Rev. Doc Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Cole, David Hawkins, Jason Morris, Jacob Lowe, Larry Farmer and Kenny Vollm. Odum Lowe will serve as honorary pallbearer.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
